Affiance Insurance Agency, LLC wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website, request a quote and manage their policies.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, speech or cognitive disabilities.
What we do
- Test our pages with automated accessibility tools and fix the issues they find.
- Give images that act as links a text description, so screen readers can announce them.
- Check that text has enough color contrast against its background.
- Give embedded forms a descriptive title.
- Review the site again when we make significant changes.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site are still being improved:
- Some cards on the home page open a page when the whole card is clicked; these cards may not be reachable with a keyboard alone. We are working on this; in the meantime you can reach us by phone or email for the same information.
- Some forms (such as the policy change and certificate request forms) are provided by a third party, Jotform, and their accessibility is partly outside our control.
If any part of the site is hard for you to use, we are glad to help by phone or email, and we can take your request or send you information in another format.
